Non-convention Applications

• full details of the Applicant(s);
• graphic representation(s) - such as B/W drawings or photographs - of the article(s) to be protected, or possible samples in the event of textile products (several articles belonging to a same class of the Locarno International Classification may be protected with a single application);
• specification and claims, if any;
• authorisation signed by the Applicant(s) (no legalization required).

Convention Applications

• full details of the Applicant(s);
• graphic representation(s) - such as B/W drawings or photographs - of the article(s) to be protected, or possible samples in the event of textile products (several articles belonging to a same class of the Locarno International Classification may be protected with a single application);
• specification and claims, if any;
• authorisation signed by the Applicant(s) (no legalization required);
• certified copy of the application(s) whose priority is claimed;
• assignment of priority rights (the same as for patents and utility models - see above), only if the Applicant in Italy is different from that indicated in the priority application(s).
